Here at You2Canvas we feel we produce a genuinely high level of service from start to finish. We try and convey this through the standard of our canvases, our user friendly website, fast turn around times and our quality guarantee, available on all canvases.

We understand there are many websites offering a similar product, however, as you may have already established, our canvas prices are the lowest on the market, whilst being of the highest quality. We achieve this by sourcing our materials from a wide range of international manufacturers, who we have found can offer the highest quality products at the most competitive prices.

Our Canvas

Once your photo has received our free image audit and has been approved for printing onto canvas, it will be printed onto the highest quality canvas. The canvas we use is Chromata White, giving exceptional print quality and consistency. Our Canvas is a textured 20.5 mil Bright White, consistent Poly Cotton Blend Matte Canvas using an acid-free, neutral pH coating. Unlike 99.9% of inkjet canvas products available on the market today, this giclee canvas utilises the "Chromata White™" optical brightener additive-free and Fluorescent Whitening agent-free breakthrough technology.

Chromata White™ gives the end-user the most stable platform on which to print photographs and fine art works without the metamerism issues or colour shift issues inherent on other canvases. Optical Brighteners compromise the attainment of true colour, they complicate profiling accuracy and they inevitably deteriorate and yellow over time.

Once your canvas has been printed it will be coated with a proprietary canvas varnish, which has been developed to protect, preserve and enhance fine art and photographic prints produced on digital inkjet printers. This new non-yellowing and will enhance the colour of pigmented and ultrachrome inks on matte media and increase resistance to image fading. Additionally, it will protect your photo on canvas against moisture and abrasion.

Our Printer

Your photo is then printed onto the canvas using the most up to date printing software available, using large format Epson printers. Epson have established a reputation for printing onto canvas and we believe they are the best in the fields for canvas printing.

Our Frames

We use only the finest quality wood to frame your canvas, complete with cross bracing where necessary. Quality tulip wood is used to frame your canvas, the wood is very light but very strong with no bending. The frames are cut with a curved profile and rounded edges, these 'lift' the canvas off the frame for a flawless finish. Our frames are 1 3/4 inch in depth and feature a unique bevel. All our canvases come complete with 'wedges' to tighten your canvas, significantly prolonging the life of your artwork.

The process of framing canvas art, where the print is tightly stretched over around the sides of a box stretcher frame, is called gallery wrapping. The dextrous, manual nature of the process means it takes skill and experience to achieve a high quality finish.

Delivery

Your canvas will then be encased in bubble wrap and protected in a tough cardboard wrapper. The package will be mailed using ParcelForce UK to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition, in the least possible time. We aim to have your canvas delivered to your door within 3-4 working days. If your canvas doesn't reach you in perfect condition you have the support of our money back guarantee - no questions asked!
