How to Order

1.Upload Your Photo
Upload your photo through our easy to use 'Wizard' feature which can be accessed by clicking on either the buy now button or the upload your image button on every page.

2.Choose a Size and Layout
In the next stage of our 'Wizard' you will be asked to select your size and price, you can also select split panels and vertical split panels.

3.Position your image
You will now be able to use our unique easy to use software to position your image, the highlighted red area shows which part of your image will be used for print, you can also choose with or without bleed, with bleed uses part of your image to wrap around the sides of the frames, without bleed leaves a white border around the image.

4.Apply a Style or Effect
Should you wish you can select a style or effect to apply to your canvas, Original, Black and White and Sepia styles are free of charge, other styles and unique backgrounds carry a small fee. You will not see the style or effect in the preview box, our design team will professionally apply your chosen style after the ordering process has taken place. We will send you an image by email for approval within 1 working day before it is printed.

5.Complete the ordering process
You will now see your checkout page, in your basket you will be able to see what options you have selected, if you are happy with your chosen options please click the 'checkout with paypal' link.

6.Pay Through PayPal
Because of fears over internet security we only take payments through the Pay Pal system, which is 100% secure, you2canvas staff never see details of cards or bank accounts. If you don't already have a pay pal account it is very quick and easy to sign up. Once you complete payment through Pay Pal you will be redirected to the order confirmation screen and your order is complete.

Your Digital Image

1. Transfer your digital image from your camera to your PC or Macintosh computer. Please ensure this image has been taken on digital camera of at least 3 Mega Pixels,, photos taken on cameras that have a lower specification may result in a lower quality image reproduction.

2. Using the software that was supplied with your camera or your favourite image editing package, crop the image to the correct format and size of file (use the guide in the next section for advice with this).

3. Save the image as a JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) file. Generally your camera and software will automatically default your photo to this format.

4. Please ensure your file size is at least 600kb (kilobytes) and a maximum size of 7Mb (megabytes).

Cropping your image

Use the guide below for an example of how you should crop your image, before you choose to upload it. For instance: Full Print at 12 x 12" should be cropped as a perfect square as the ratio is 1:1. Example Ratios for our Sizes are listed below, please try and crop your image within these guidelines. (if you are finding this difficult please contact us for further assistance).

Note: Please ensure you are Cropping and reducing your image to aspect ratio and not Enlarging your image.

Uploading your image

Once you have chosen to enter the order process simply click Buy Now or Upload your Image anywhere on the site.

Simply browse your computer or CD and locate your chosen image, click 'Upload' and our Wizard will guide you easily through the rest of the process.
